it's me, hi

I was born and raised in Ottawa, ON. I come from a big, loud family in a home where everyone was welcome and 'mi casa su casa' was our motto. I love all things warm and cozy, I'm obsessed with plants (you can never have enough), a sucker for chocolate chip cookies, love animals (please bring your dogs to your session) and I'll admit it, I am a beer girly.

How it started

I got my first camera when I was 10 and decided I was going to be a Photographer by the time I was 16. I always loved looking through old photographs and was usually the friend who brought a camera to the party. I graduated from the Digital Photography program at Georgian College in 2009 and officially started my business in 2019.

inspiration

It's tough to pinpoint one thing that inspires me because it can change everyday! I love nature and the beauty that surrounds us. Music fuels my soul (piano has always been a therapeutic outlet for me, but you probably won't ever hear me play, sorry!) Movies have always been huge influence on how I set the scene for my photos, I love creating a cinematic feel where the images can tell a story.

Fun Facts

I love to travel and explore new places! I took a leap of faith and moved to Switzerland when I was 22 to be a live-in nanny for a year. When I came back to Canada, I worked as a travel agent for a few years and have a never-ending bucket list of places to visit. My last trip was to Akumal, Mexico - a location that will forever hold a place in my heart (I was a destination bride!)
